Video Contact Sheet *NIX creates a contact sheet (preview) from videos by taking still captures distributed over the length of the video. The output image contains useful information on the video such as codecs, file size, screen size, frame rate, and length. It requires MPlayer or FFmpeg and ImageMagick. It is confirmed to work on Linux and FreeBSD, and possibly other POSIX/UNIX systems.

Algunos nombres de Real Audio codec se agregaron (V4, V5 y V6). Una reserva se ha añadido para la fuente por defecto en sistemas que no se registran las fuentes con ImageMagick. Extra directorios temporales son limpiados correctamente, y de un arreglo se hizo por falta de implementación de GNU de awk mawk (por ejemplo).

Some Real Audio codec names were added (v4, v5, and v6). A fallback was added for the default font on systems that don't register fonts with ImageMagick. Extra temporary directories are now cleaned up correctly, and a fix was made for non-GNU implementations of awk (e.g. mawk).
