Castle Game Engine is a cross-platform 3D game engine written in Object Pascal. It includes a flexible system of 3D objects, with out-of-the-box levels, items, intelligent creatures, and more. Rendering and processing of 3D models in X3D, VRML, Collada, and other formats is implemented. Many graphic effects are available, including shadows, bump mapping, shaders, mirrors, and screen effects.

Una nueva API para los desarrolladores a utilizar y ampliar las criaturas, niveles, elementos y objetos 3D personalizados. Un nuevo sistema de creación de recursos y niveles donde se pueden expresar características básicas de juegos 3D de datos del juego sin necesidad de modificar el código fuente. Nueva documentación de motor fue creado: tutorial, Resumen de clases y una guía para la creación de datos del juego. Se hicieron muchas mejoras en la navegación, efectos de pantalla y otras piezas del motor.
