Jaffa (Java Application Framework For All) is an enterprise-focused Java framework for rapid application development. It provides a complete Java Web application development stack, extending exsiting projects like Tomcat and Struts at the frontend with MVC-based web widgets, all the way through to a high-performance lightweight O/R persistence engine, with plenty of rich features in between including rules engines, declarative application, and data security. In addition to the runtime framework, there is a suite of component templates and other tools for rapid application development, including a TogetherSoft plug-in for UML intergration.

Este lanzamiento es un lanzamiento principal de mantenimiento que se centra principalmente en Struts 1.1 compatibilidad. También incluye todas las peticiones de la característica más pequeños y correcciones que se hicieron durante los últimos meses. Destacados de esta versión son el soporte para Struts 1.1 y Azulejos en la capa de presentación, las nuevas tareas Ant para apoyar el fragmento de la concentración, un apoyo adicional de agrupación de conexiones a través del paquete de Jakarta Commons DBCP, el apoyo a la base de datos de claves generadas en la capa de persistencia, y las modificaciones a Tomcat Reino de cifrado para apoyar Fuentes de datos y la agrupación de conexiones.

This release is a major maintenance release that
is primarily focused on Struts 1.1 compatibility.
It also includes all the smaller feature requests
and bugfixes that were made over the last few
months. Highlights of this release are support for
Struts 1.1 and Tiles within the Presentation
Layer, new Ant tasks to support the fragment
merging, additional connection pool support via
the Jakarta Commons DBCP package, support for
database generated keys in the persistence layer,
and modifications to Tomcat encryption Realm to
support DataSources and connection pooling.
