this seems to be a bug for aquamac.

I open a DOS file, iso8859-1 encoded, that's 56624 bytes.
The file is a html file but contains very few EOL chars. (i.e. many  
lines are very long)

Then, i press page down (which runs scroll-up). However, after 2 or 3  
page downs it stops moving. Nothing happens.

This does not happen with carbon emacs.

am using latest public release of aquamac 1.2a.

it is started from Terminal by
"/Applications/Aquamacs Emacs.app/Contents/MacOS/Aquamacs Emacs" -q &
