Goodgoat Linux is a simple to use Linux
distribution that can be run from a USB drive,
hard drive, or CD-ROM. Rather than
overwhelming users with a multitude of
applications, it aims to have the best utility for
each job. In addition to including the latest
software, it makes it easy to share a
computer's hard drive over a network.

wmweather+ will download the National Weather Serivce METAR bulletins, ANV, ETA, and MRF forecasts, and any weather map for display in a WindowMaker dockapp. It includes forecasts, a weather map, and a sky condition display.

WeeWM (Wee Enhanced Environment) is a fast and
light window manager for XFree86. Everything can
be done with a keyboard. It is customizable, and
has dock management, smart window placement,
virtual desktops, and more.

WindowLab is a small and simple window manager of
novel design. It has a click-to-focus but not
raise-on-focus policy, a window resizing mechanism
that allows one or many edges of a window to be
changed in one action, and an innovative menubar
that shares the same part of the screen as the
taskbar. Window titlebars are prevented from going
off the edge of the screen by constraining the
mouse pointer. When appropriate, the pointer is
also constrained to the taskbar/menubar in order
to make target menu items easier to hit.

treewm is a window manager that tries to implement a new concept. In addition
to the client windows, the user can create desktops which can themselves
contain windows and desktops. By arranging the windows in such a tree, the user
is able to manage tasks efficiently.

Damn Small Linux Not is a desktop oriented Linux
distribution based on Damn Small Linux. It uses a
modern 2.6 Kernel and GTK 2 applications, but like
Damn Small Linux, it strives to be compact yet
user friendly. It will run well on systems of
300MHz with 64 MB of RAM or greater.

WMND (Window Maker Network Devices) is a dockapp
for monitoring multiple network interfaces
simultaneously. Based on WMiFS 1.3b, WMND has been
almost totally re-written and is more optimized,
flexible, and consumes less CPU time than wmmon.

PLATYPUX is a Linux distribution which uses methods from LFS and BLFS (Linux From Scratch). You can set up the system on a PC, a laptop, or a USB key. Its graphical interface is implemented with XFCE. It's easily transportable. Tools like LibreOffice, Gimp, Xsane, SRWare Iron, Inkscape, OpenShot, Xfburn, Peazip, and JavaMPlayer are already installed.

Bluetile is a tiling window manager designed to integrate with the GNOME desktop environment. It provides both a traditional, stacking layout mode as well as tiling layouts where windows are arranged to use the entire screen without overlapping. Bluetile tries to make the tiling paradigm easily accessible to users coming from traditional window managers by drawing on known conventions and providing both mouse and keyboard access for all features.

WMI is a lightweight window manager for X11 which
attempts to combine the best features of larswm,
ion, evilwm, and ratpoison into one window
manager. It supports both the conventional way of
managing windows in a overlapping manner and the
screen-alike way of managing windows in a
non-overlapping fashion.

Xdgmenumaker is a command line tool that generates application menus using xdg information by scanning *.desktop files in all $XDG_DATA_DIRS/applications directories. All applications are sorted according to the main categories as specified by freedesktop.org. Generated menu entries are localised according to the current user locale settings. It currently supports generation of menus for Fluxbox, IceWM, and WindowMaker. Icons from the current GTK+ icon theme can be included in the menus, when they are supported by the output format.
