prizm is a simple tool to colorize xterm sessions, either
randomly or from a config file. It is a useful visual cue for
when there are many xterms open at once.

JChassis ANSI Terminal Controller is a Java API
for controlling ANSI-compliant terminals and
terminal emulators such a Linux virtual terminals,
xterm, Gnome Terminal, and KDE Konsole. The
library can be used to display character styles
and colors and graphical characters in those
environments. It is a repackaging of various
JChassis modules into a standalone library that
does not require the JChassis SDK or framework.

Webtap is a small command line tool inspired by
Mozilla Firefox's "Keyword Shortcuts" feature. Its
purpose is to facilitate similar keyword based Web
browsing from the command line, as a CLI driven
front end to your Web browser. The distribution
includes a Bash programmable completion file with
all of the program's common options as well as the
ability to tab through the available keywords.

JChassis TermUI is an API for simple GUI-like user
interfaces on ANSI/VT100-compliant terminals and
terminal emulators, such as Linux virtual
terminals, GNOME Terminal, and KDE Konsole. The
intent is similar to that of the ncurses library,
but done in pure Java. Several commonly used
widgets are available.

rdesktop Console is a Perl/Tk based utility for
Linux to work with multiple rdesktop servers. It
works with rdesktop 1.1.0 from www.rdesktop.org to
manage multiple sessions for logging into Windows
NT and 2K Terminal Servers. It allows creation and
management of a simple list of servers and a
default resolution for the terminal windows.

Linuxlord is a client/server architecture to enable Web-based thin client
computing using Linux. Linuxlord allows you to login to your Linux desktop from
everywhere via a Java applet running in your Web browser. It supports
compression, making it useful even over a dialup connection.

A self-contained package which allows use of a diskless, low-memory Sun SPARCstation (4c or 4m architecture) as an Xterminal client. The server can be almost any other system which has tftpboot capability. This package is 100% Linux. There are no Sun binaries or libraries included or needed. If you have a system with no disk, or perhaps an IPC which suffers from the dreaded "slowdown" bug, this is the package for you.

mpterm is a terminal for the GNOME desktop
environment. It allows a user the have several
windows open at the same time embedded within a
single window. The user can swap between any of
the open terminals with a mouse click, or a
key-binding from the keyboard. This program is for
command line junkies who don't want their desktop
cluttered with several terminals.

Libptytty is a small library that offers pseudo-TTY management in an OS-independent way. It was created out of frustration over the many differences of PTY/TTY handling in different operating systems for use inside "rxvt-unicode". It also offers session database support (utmp and optional wtmp/lastlog updates for login shells) and supports forking a proxy process after startup and dropping privileges in the calling process. It offers C++ and C-only APIs.

Rdclient is another GUI for RDesktop. It is
written with KDE/Qt and it looks like the MS TSE
Client. It supports seamless RDP with seamless
shortcuts.

ROTE is a simple C library for VT102 terminal emulation. It
allows the programmer to set up virtual 'screens' and send
them data. The virtual screens will emulate the behavior of a
VT102 terminal, interpreting escape sequences, control
characters and such. The library supports ncurses as well so
that you may render the virtual screen to the real screen
when you need to.
