Alfanous is a Quranic search engine that provides simple and advanced search services in the diverse information of the Holy Quran. It is built on the foundations of modern search engines to ensure high stability and high-speed searching. It has features to help the user search like highlighting and suggestions. Alfanous is necessarily focused on searching in the Arabic language, and so it provides Arabic morphological analysis to allow users more liberty in the formulation of queries and also to increase the accuracy of the research and its comprehensiveness.

Zmanim is a software package that computes zmanim, the times (according to Jewish law) by which an observant Jew must complete specific prayers. The default branch is a console version for Linux, and the QT branch is a GUI version for Linux using the QT GUI libraries.

OpenSong is an application for managing chords and
lyric sheets (lead sheets), presenting lyrics (and
custom slides) using a projector, and much more.
It's great for worship leaders and musicians.

qSong is a song database program with multimedia
features for worship
musicians and other people working with music. It
allows you to store
and manage all song-related information, such as
chords, lyrics,
authors, and copyright. It can create songbooks in
popular formats such
as PDF, HTML, and ChordPro. All items in the
database can be searched
and sorted.

ITL itools is a collection of command line tools that mimics the development of the underlying ITL library (libitl) and is meant to always give the end-user simple means to access its functions. Available tools include ical (displays a Hijri calendar), idate (a multi-method Hijri/Gregorian date converter), ipraytime (a prayer times and Qibla calculator and schedule table generator), and ireminder (a prayer time reminder Perl script). This project is part of the Islamic Tools and Libraries project.

Asaph is a tool for Christian music groups and worship leaders for managing song databases. Its features include searching, manipulating chord markings, printing lead sheets, and generating presentations for use in group worship.

bibleverse is a command line tool to randomly display a selected Bible verse, selected from a book or collection of books. It is meant to work as a precmd or PROMPT_COMMAND. At present, it supports the KJV.

ManiWheel is a GL hack for xscreensaver. It draws
the spinning Tibetan mantra, "OM MANI PEME HUNG"
for the blessing of all beings. It features transparent and
no-transparent modes, two internal textures, the
option to enable or disable a specular image. The
height, radius, shininess, distance, and speed of
rotation may be changed. It can also be used to
draw any texture in the .rgb format.

BibleStudy is a wxWindows based frontend to the
Sword projects, which provide a method of
accessing religious texts. It is designed to be
easy to use, fast, and simple. The user interface
is designed to allow a lot of flexibility.

Accountability Pal monitors your network and keeps
track of who is using the Internet and what they
are viewing, downloading, uploading, etc. It
emails a report of each user's activity to the
person/people you specify. It will monitor HTTP
traffic, Peer-to-Peer, FTP, and more. It uses a
plugin interface to allow others to easily add new
protocols to its monitoring abilities.

The Religious Agenda is a multi-translation Bible reader app for the Agenda VR3 PDA. Useful features include single to multiple concurrent translations of the Bible, a text search facility, and bookmarks. Available translations include World Edition, Bible in Basic English, American Standard, Darby, King James, Douay-Rhiems, and the Apocrypha.

QtQuran is a Qt client using libquran which is
able to navigate through the Holy Qur'an text,
play verses by different recitors, and search
through the Holy Qur'an text. It can also navigate
through different translations of the Qur'an (6
translations are available).

Simple Parallel Bible is a Web-based search and lookup tool. It lets you
link to multiple passages, in parallel (for side-by-side comparison) or
in a list, with a single link. It comes with the World English Bible and
can be made to use other texts.

uCal is a PHP class that can be used to convert
dates between the Hijri and Gregorian calendars.
It features the ability to convert dates between
Hijri and Gregorian calendars and vice-versa. It
is fully compatible with Umm Al-Qura. Dates
formatted like the PHP date() function can be
returned. English/Arabic formatted Hijri and
Gregorian dates and times can be output. Versions
of the date() and mktime() functions for Hijri are
also provided.

OpenAncestry is a genealogical management tool written in C. It uses GTK+ for the interface, and it supports SQLite as the database. It is modular and allows other database interfaces to be written through its plugin architecture.
